SR. JOCELYN PANZETTA, CIJ – FAITH FORMATION (ADULTS)

Sister Jocelyn began her ministry at St Frances in July of 1999.  A native of Brooklyn, she attended St. Agnes Elementary School, and St. Frances Xavier High School. After graduation, she worked a year before entering the Congregation of the Infant Jesus (a.k.a., The Nursing Sisters of the Sick Poor).  With a BSN from Molloy College and an MS Ed. from Hofstra Un., sister launched a Nursing Ministry which spanned 30 year, primarily in the area of Nursing Education/Staff Development.  Her present Ministry as Director of Adult Faith Formation followed her studies at Immaculate Conception Seminary.  Its hard for Sister to pick out which areas of ministry brings her the most joy: preparing adults for the reception of the sacraments (RCIA and Adult Confirmation), teaching Courses, Spirituality Classes, giving Prayer Experiences, or praying and sharing faith with the Small Christian Community Groups.  She is grateful for her experience of parish life, and sees it as a gracious gift from God.
