I am the Director of Music for our very special Parish of St. Frances.
I started to take lessons on the piano at age six, the organ at age seven and began playing in Churches when I was in Elementary
School. I’ve taught privately and have been both Music Director and Music Teacher in Westchester, Manhattan, the Bronx and Nassau County.
When I came to St. Frances, I was both the parish Music Director and Music Teacher in the school where I established a music program for grades K – 8. I also started a School Chorus which put on two concerts a year and sang for special events such as singing at the Jacob Javits Center for the Teachers’ Convention.
The music program for the Church has also expanded to include the Children, Teen and Adult Choirs, Instrumentalists, Leaders of Song and Singers and Musicians for the Children’s Liturgy of the Word.
We also produced a professionally recorded CD – THE SOUNDS OF CHRISTMAS.
It is a pleasure for me to be a part of this wonderful and vibrant Parish.
