DEACON THOMAS ANDERSON

Deacon Thomas Anderson has been a member of the St.Frances de Chantal faith community for almost twenty years.
He has served the parish as a catechist and presenter in the Confirmation Prep program as well as a lector and Eucharistic minister.
He was ordained to the permanent diaconate by Bishop William F. Murphy on May 15, 2010 at St. Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre.
He was awarded a master’s degree in pastoral studies in May 2010 by the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Huntington, New York
after completing a four-year course of study and spiritual development.

He is a graduate of Pace University’s Lubin School of Business where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and has been employed by Man-Dell Food Stores of Bellerose, New York for 35 years, where he began his career as a part-time clerk at age 16 and now serves as the company’s Executive Vice President of Operations.
He is a native of Woodside, Queens and is the oldest of nine siblings.

Deacon Tom and Bernadette Ryan were married in June of 1987 and have been blessed with three children.

Deacon Tom seeks to serve the people of St. Frances by being present to them at celebration of Baptism, officiating at wake services and Eucharistic Adoration, and being a servant of Jesus Christ in the community and in the workplace.
