The Young Vincentians had the incredible opportunity to volunteer this past weekend at the Parish Thrift Shop. We thank the wonderful volunteers there, Maureen and Janet, who instructed us and coached us on the ins and outs of the program and store.
This was our first time there, but we will be back once a month on Saturday from 10-1 as a service project….and we couldn’t be happier to embark on this journey and take this project into the fold. Our first two days will be July 22 and August 26.
I want to thank our members for assisting in this project and for their time and talents. It’s truly remarkable to watch all these members in action.
Additionally, we will be having more events and projects in the coming months. I hope more can join us as we embark on growing this program and assisting our community.
