Bambellini Sunday, Dec. 11/12

THE BLESSING OF THE BABY JESUS FIGURES FROM YOUR HOME NATIVITY SCENES!

Since 2017 it has been our Saint Frances de Chantal Parish Tradition to Celebrate Bambellini Sunday.

Bambellini Sunday is when children / families / parents bring their statues / figures of the Infant Jesus from all their Nativity Sets at home to be blessed at Mass, just as Pope Francis does on the 3rd Sunday of Advent in Rome.

The 3rd Sunday of Advent is often referred to by its Latin name – Gaudete Sunday, which indicates that it is a day of “Rejoicing!”  The Lord is near!  Christmas is near!

“Dear Children, when you pray in front of your Nativity scene, remember me as I remember you!”  Jesus said, “The more that you Honor Me – the more that I will bless you!”

This Traditional Advent Season Event will take place after the Post – Communion Prayer at all of the Masses on Saturday, December 11, and Sunday, December 12, 2021.

Remember to bring your Baby Jesus Figurine (and other figures, if you like) and have them Blessed and when you return home, joyfully place the Blessed Christ Figure (and others) into your Families Nativity Scene.

Thank you and God Bless You!
