The St. Frances Knights of Columbus Squires have made an impact on our church and community and, at the same time, has provided fun activities for its members for the past 38 years. The group meets every two weeks on Sunday evenings.Meetings are held at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 1869 Wantagh Ave. in Wantagh. The Hall is open at 7 pm and the meeting starts at 7:30 pm with refreshments served afterwards.
Members are expected to attend meetings and participate in activities that focus on both fun and service. They have the ability to be involved in the decision making and planning of those activities. They include, Food Drives, Paintball, Dodge Ball, Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army and more. The Circle has a web site squiresports.com which information on our programs and activities is posted.
The members have also committed to helping, on a rotating basis at the 5 pm Mass on Sundays here at St. Frances. You are assigned to a team which helps once every four weeks.
The Circle has its own officers which are elected by the members in June.
The adult advisors for the Circle, who are members of the Knights, are called Counselors.
